Welcome!

Welcome to TKNott! I realize the welcome post is out of order whoops! Lol. Anyway, welcome! I'm Kayla and I started this blog because I wanted to try and reach people suffering from mental health, provide unique parenting outlooks because I am a different character! And also give writing tips 😊. I was mostly spurred to do this due to the loss of my father this year, I felt awful that I couldn’t do anything for him and with this, maybe I can deter someone else from suicide. The other reason is I really just love to write, half the time, other than my books, I don’t know what to write and this felt like a great way to focus that energy.

Within this blog you’ll come across more than just tips and advice, you will find personal stories and while it may not always be clear why I’ve shared the story; it will be clear for someone who can relate. I suffer from anxiety, depression and bipolar type 2, but I have a good support team and while I may not be a picture of mental health, I mean clearly, I still stand and deal with it on a daily basis and have a good sense of humor about it. I am not making this blog because I have it all together, I am just doing it to help because I have found strengths in myself, and I want to help others find their strengths as well. Along the way I have found things that help and realizations that have also helped. I often still have bad days, but how I cope might be useful for others.

There is also an art gallery of my artwork and a link to my shop on Redbubble with products featuring my artwork, every item sold on there will help a charity as I will personally ensure that a payment is made to a charity for mental health awareness and to fight human trafficking, if there is another charity you wish to see benefitted, please don’t hesitate to reach out and I will see that it is done! You can find a link to Facebook, and it will take you to my arts and crafts group where my art is also displayed, as well as tattoo’s I have done and other projects. A free printable PDF of a monthly mental health journal I created can also be found within the website, I think it’s great!

I’ll mostly post on Friday’s!

Thanks for checking this out!

Best,

~TKNott~
